Your answers, your points, the moves you choose, your check-ins and the notes you add to them, your Focus Capacity and the goal you chose are stored on your device. They are not uploaded, not backed up to us, and not readable by us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Your language and reminder settings are stored the same way. The reminder, if you turn it on, is scheduled locally by the phone itself.
Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat, which works with Apple and Google to confirm what you have bought. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier for your installation and the purchase history attached to it. It does not receive your answers or your goal.
Payment itself happens in the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details.
There is no advertising in this app, in the free version or in Premium.
No advertising network receives anything from this app, and no advertising identifier is read.
There is no analytics tool in this app. We do not track which lessons you open or how you answer. There are no accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to leak.
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Clocktopus offers a monthly and an annual subscription. The price shown on the subscription screen is the price you pay, in your own currency, and it is the price the store charges.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel them. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. On Google Play, cancelling stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current period.
You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep everything until that period runs out. The subscription screen has a Manage button that takes you straight there.
It opens every lesson and the explanation archive. The first two lessons, their moves, the check-ins and the tank are free whether you subscribe or not, and your answers, moves, check-ins, points and Focus Capacity stay on your device if you cancel.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue them directly, but we will not stand in the way of one.
Clocktopus is a set of short lessons about everyday habits, told through a cartoon octopus. It is not therapy, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional help of any kind. If something in your life feels heavier than a habit, please reach someone who can be with you.
The lessons describe choices and their likely consequences for Mr. Clocktopus. They do not claim to describe how every person works, and they cite no studies, because they make no scientific claims.
