Your prayer rule, your prayer list, your journal entries and your session history are stored in a database on your device. They are not uploaded, not backed up to us, and not readable by us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Your language, tradition and reminder settings are stored the same way. The tradition you choose never leaves the device: it selects which content the app shows you, locally.
Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat, which works with Apple and Google to confirm what you have bought. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier for your installation and the purchase history attached to it. It does not receive your journal, your prayers, or your tradition.
Payment itself happens in the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details.
The free version shows advertising in one place: the session catalogue. There is no advertising on the screens where you pray, write, or examine your day, and none on the subscription screen.
Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device advertising identifier to choose them. On iOS, the system asks your permission before that identifier is used, and declining is a complete answer — the app works the same either way. Subscribing removes all advertising.
There is no analytics tool in this app. We do not track which sessions you open, how often you pray, or whether you keep your rule. We do not have accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to leak.
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

GraceRhythm offers a monthly and an annual subscription. The price shown on the subscription screen is the price you pay, in your own currency, and it is the price the store charges.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep everything until that period runs out. The subscription screen has a Manage button that takes you straight there.
It removes advertising everywhere in the app, and it opens the premium sessions, the seasonal cards and the weekly reflection. Nothing you have already written is ever behind it: your journal, your prayer list and your rule stay yours whether you subscribe or not, and they stay if you cancel.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue them directly, but we will not stand in the way of one.
GraceRhythm is a companion for prayer. It is not pastoral care, not spiritual direction, and not a substitute for professional help of any kind. If you are in crisis, please reach someone who can be with you.
The app carries material from several Christian traditions and tries to address each reader in the words their own church uses. Where something was not verified, the app withholds it rather than guessing. If you find something wrong about your tradition, we would rather hear it than have you leave.

This text is available in every language the app speaks. If a translation and the English version ever disagree, the English version is the one that applies.
